Posted some of this a few years back, but am digging out old CAD models and seeing about going either IWM or Shapeways...

I think one of the biggest issue with that model is how it was split down the middle virtically and there was always issues with lining up the halves. It might be better horizontal like the wolf star ships are that IWM sells.

Well the original resin master wasnt supposed to be used for what it was either. That was done to be used in a low-temp vulcanization mold as opposed to the normal higher temp. Needless to say it melted and the finished product shows this.
